Amelia County Fair Cornhole Tournament

1. Limited to twelve teams.

2. Double elimination.

3. Entry fee $20 per team ($10 per person).

4. Late arrival to a game may result in forfeiture at judge’s discretion.

5. All decisions by the judges are final.

6. Equipment will be the Amelia County Fair Association boards and bags.

7. Boards will be placed 27’ front edge to front edge.

8. Contestants must keep both feet behind front edge of board when throwing.

9. Bag on the board scores 1 point. Bag through the hole scores 3 points.

10. Cancelation scoring will be utilized.

11. The winner will be the first team reaching 21 points after a completed turn (turn is defined as both players having thrown all four bags).

12. The requirement to end on exactly 21 points will apply only in the championship (final) game. Going over 21 in the championship game will reset the team’s score to 11.

13. Games will be limited to one hour. If the time limit is reached, the team with the lead will be declared the winner. If the score is tied after one hour of play, the winner will be the first team to take the lead on subsequent turns.

14. The tournament will begin on Thursday, June 19, at 5:30 PM. The championship game will take place on Sunday, June 22, at 5:00 PM.

 

The winning team receives a $100 gift card.

The second-place team receives a $50 gift card.
